[1956] [Attack] English Transcript

(1) Fragile Fox, Fragile Fox. First squad.
(2) First squad. Over to you, Lieutenant.
(3) How about it, Ingersoll? Gonna try for that pillbox?
(4) We can give it a try, but we'll need support if we get jammed.
(5) They still got you pinned?
(6) Yes. Then we go ahead all the way.
(7) But if we get pinned down, we'll need Captain Cooney to get us outta there.
(8) Fragile Fox, over and out. Heroes. Glory hounds.
(9) Got that, Captain? First squad from my platoon, they're going all the way.
(10) Are your men set to support 'em?
(11) Give me a hand signal. Out.
(12) Hֳ¶her.
(13) Lousy mortar. They got Ingersoll's squad zeroed in.
(14) They're pinned by machine-gun fire. Now they're getting it with mortars.
(15) Attack from your side, take the heat off of Ingersoll.
(16) Fragile Fox One, this is Two. Let's get the lead out!
(17) Over and out.
(18) Cooney, where are you? You said you'd back them up!
(19) It's up to you, Cooney. Do you hear me?
(20) Cooney, where are you?!
(21) Fall back!
(22) Cooney! Cooney!
(23) I can't hold. The machine gun's still got us pinned.
(24) You said you'd back them up! Come in, Cooney.
(25) Cooney! Cooney! Cooney, over!
(26) It's all over, Lieutenant.
(27) Yeah, you're just wasting your battery.
(28) That's all for today, fellas.
(29) If you have a request, send it to me, care of Armed Forces Radio Service.
(30) Goodbye.
(31) All right, all right, knock it off. Come on.
(32) Knock it off!
(33) We've been waitin' around here for two hours and you expect instant coffee.
(34) Jackson, you ain't an orderly orderly.
(35) And that jug is out of uniform. It ain't wearing any rust.
(36) Fill it up. That oughta make it rusty. Very funny. Who's it for?
(37) Captain Cooney. Captain Cooney?
(38) Every time Jackson runs an errand, Cooney tips him a stripe.
(39) Hurry. He's expecting Colonel Bartlett. There's a parlay for ya.
(40) When you salute them two, you gotta apologise to your arm.
(41) What's with Cooney and the colonel? What's the hot dope?
(42) You got the inside pipe to Cooney. Spit it.
(43) We get Christmas in Paris, or do I climb the walls to get to my pin-ups?
(44) The captain never tells me anything. Baloney.
(45) Jackson, you're a traitor.
(46) Besides, I don't trust soldiers who shine their shoes.
(47) Jackson! Jackson!
(48) His master's voice. Mother's calling.
(49) Coffee, Private? Why not?
(50) I already got an ulcer.
(51) Strong, ain't it?
(52) You called me, Captain? Yes, I called. Where are the forms?
(53) Which forms, sir? Which...?
(54) The replacement forms. They should be at Division today.
(55) Already sent them out, sir. Oh. OK.
(56) Did you get the coffee?
(57) Yes, sir.
(58) Well, come on, come on!
(59) The way they run this army... Inefficiency, repetition.
(60) Huh! I tell you, son, if I ran my business back home the way they run this army,
(61) I'd be bankrupt in a month.
(62) One month! Yes, sir.
(63) It'd be a break for the taxpayers if they'd let some...
(64) let some businessmen take over for a change.
(65) It's an interesting idea, Captain.
(66) Get that box of cigars out of my musette.
(67) I want Clyde - Colonel Bartlett to feel like he was back home.
(68) Like we was both back home. Little ol' Riverview.
(69) Some cigars and a few ashtrays, too? Yeah, but nothing fancy.
(70) We're just a couple of small-town boys, the colonel and me. Understand?
(71) We like our pleasures...
(72) simple.
(73) Get a towel, Corporal. Yes, sir.
(74) John? Yes, sir?
(75) Did you get those requisitions approved for the winter underwear?
(76) Wouldn't you know it, sir? Only the top parts.
(77) Great. Just great.
(78) Hi, there, Woody boy. You all set for the game?
(79) All ready. The colonel will be along...
(80) Where is Costa?
(81) Joe? Hasn't he shown up? No!
(82) He's been getting a little out of line lately. He's unofficer-like.
(83) I'm sure you're mistaken, Captain.
(84) John, you told the lieutenant he was expected, didn't you?
(85) Yes, sir. I told him this morning.
(86) Ten-hut!
(87) Carry on, gentlemen. Corporal. Hey! Hi.
(88) Erskine, Woodruff. Is this all? You in a mind to play three-handed?
(89) Costa's been held up. I'm gonna put a torch under him now.
(90) You do that, son.
(91) And tell him I said to bring plenty of money.
(92) Yes, sir.
(93) Well, Clyde! Glad you could get over!
(94) Sure... Where's that bourbon you were talkin' about?
(95) Comin' right up.
(96) You, uh, care for a little branch water?
(97) You don't want me to rust my plumbing, do you?
(98) ֳ€ Pittsburgh, mon pֳ¨re faisait ֳ§a.
(99) Oh? Il ֳ©tait forgeron?
(100) Costa, where are you? I'm in here, Harry!
